The Role

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Social Values Coordinator to lead community engagement and CLLA initiatives for their site in Bristol. Reporting to the People & Culture Director, you will ensure the s106 Construction Local Labour Agreement (CLLA) plans are implemented, managed, and monitored effectively.

This role covers community engagement, recruitment activity, and diversity and inclusion projects. It involves working with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to support delivery against agreed commitments and to promote positive social impact.

Responsibilities within this role will include:

  • Manage implementation and delivery of our client’s and the client’s commitment to the Construction Local Labour Agreement
  • Monitor and report weekly to the People & Culture Director and Contracts Manager on all CLLA-related activity, including contractor contributions.
  • Monitor and report monthly to the client and North Somerset Council on progress towards CLLA commitments.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with external bodies such as North Somerset Council and Weston College.
  • Organise and host school, college, and university site visits, presentations, and careers fairs to promote construction careers.
  • Work closely with contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers to support delivery of CLLA targets, including apprenticeships and local employment.
  • Represent our client and its client at events, awards, and PR opportunities.
  • Launch and manage community engagement, recruitment, diversity, and inclusion projects targeting priority groups.


The Person

The successful candidate will bring relevant experience, strong organisation, and the confidence to work with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be comfortable managing projects, reporting on progress, and building effective relationships across internal and external networks.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, or strong evidence of relevant transferable skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel to Belfast monthly.


The Salary

£30,000


The Contract

24-month fixed-term contract


The Hours:

35.75 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a 45-minute lunch break.


The Location

Based in South Bristol / North Somerset, with occasional travel to Belfast.
