We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our dynamic team within Restaurant Associates Venues. This is a fantastic role for someone with strong financial acumen and a passion for delivering high-quality financial services and reporting.

As Assistant Finance Manager, you will play a key role in providing a robust, pro-active financial information and control service to both the Finance and Operating Teams. You will also support the continued development of our UK Finance Function—aimed at enhancing service levels, improving quality of management information, and standardising processes across the board.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly bookwork close and ensure accuracy of entries.
  • Manage financial and client reporting on a regular basis.
  • Oversee maintenance of EPOS/cashless back office systems.
  • Support the Finance Manager during monthly close processes in SAP.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the local bookwork system.
  • Deliver daily and weekly reporting including:
    • Daily sales reports
    • Weekly P&L for Operations
    • Weekly payroll and flash reports
    • Ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
  • Handle cashless inbox queries and maintain general finance admin tasks.

Key Close Activities

Weekly Nexus Close

  • Investigate and resolve reporting issues
  • Manage deadlines with departmental heads
  • Maintain and update a structured task timetable
  • Prepare supporting documentation (e.g. sales reports)


Monthly Close Support

  • Prepare accruals, prepayments, and hospitality recharges
  • Back up vending charges and assist with other closing activities


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a finance support or assistant finance manager role
  • Strong working knowledge of financial systems (e.g. SAP, EPOS)
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines and large volumes of data
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
