We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations in a major High Street brand on a part-time basis, contracted to 32 hours per week.

Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: Variable shifts.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.

  2. Supervising a small team, creating a positive environment where everyone feels welcomed and supported.

  3. Being a responsible key holder.

  4. Using the till, taking orders, and receiving payments.

  5. Assisting with weekly bookwork and other necessary duties.

  6. Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.

  7. Placing orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels.

  8. Delegating tasks where necessary and ensuring the team is proactive at all times.

  9. Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.

  10. Adhering to Health & Safety regulations.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.

  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers.

  • Ability to comply with legislation and follow all rules and regulations in the staff handbook and unit policies, including uniform, personal hygiene, health, and safety.

  • Customer service focused.

  • Team player with a can-do attitude.

  • Takes pride in personal appearance and hygiene.

  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative.

  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
