We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, skilled, and knowledgeable Locum Radiology Consultant to join a prestigious NHS trust.


In this role, you will act as an expert consultant, analyzing images to help diagnose, monitor, and treat various conditions, diseases, and injuries, working flexibly with a negotiable job plan.


You will work alongside a friendly, multidisciplinary team using advanced imaging technology such as CT, MRI, PET, and fusion imaging, pioneering innovative techniques.


As a specialist in the Radiology team, you'll have access to development and support packages to enhance your knowledge or explore new intervention techniques.


Qualifications and skills required include:



  • GMC registration (not necessarily on the Specialist Register)

  • Relevant experience at Consultant level or supporting references

  • Evidence of right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship)

  • Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check


Main duties include:



  1. Diagnosing, treating, and managing medical conditions using imaging

  2. Providing expertise and guidance to colleagues

  3. Collaborating with staff to ensure quality care

  4. Performing minimally invasive procedures and interventional treatments

  5. Supporting and communicating effectively with patients and families

  6. Leading or participating in multidisciplinary teams

  7. Assessing patient conditions and reporting changes

  8. Managing administrative tasks
