Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer seeking a new opportunity in Bristol? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management company for a skilled engineer to join their team on a large site in Bristol.

Position: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Bristol
Salary: £35,600 per annum

Role: Static

Benefits: 24 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, Monday to Friday, no call outs

Timings: 7am - 3:30pm, alternating week 10am - 6:30pm

As a Facilities Maintenance Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of air conditioning systems on a large site in Bristol. Your duties will include diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and ensuring HVAC equipment operates efficiently to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

1. Routine inspections of mechanical systems and equipment.


2. Developing maintenance schedules and procedures.


3. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.


4. Identifying and replacing faulty parts and components.


5. Responding promptly to emergencies.


6. Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.


7. Maintaining accurate maintenance records.


8. Coordinating with other maintenance staff and contractors.


9. Recommending improvements for efficiency.


10. Staying updated with industry developments and providing staff training.


11. Handling pumps, motors, plumbing, heating, valves, boilers, pipes, water supply, and sprinklers.

• Level 2/3 qualification in mechanical discipline (air conditioning, plumbing, mechanical engineering, pipefitter, fitter).
