Civil / Structural Engineer - #2177149

Caralex Recruitment has been asked by a residential developer to find a Civil / Structural Engineer to join their well-established Technical Department.

The role will involve appointing, overseeing and managing external civil and structural engineering consultants across a range of residential developments, from initial feasibility through to construction.

Ideally, you will have worked for a design consultancy or residential developer. You will assist with the production of layouts and technical reports, brief and commission site investigations, and appoint and manage engineering consultants across a range of design works. You will also coordinate highway and drainage approvals, utilities, and infrastructure design.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on residential developments, including RC-frame projects, as well as an understanding of Section 38, Section 104, and Section 278 agreements. Experience with AutoCAD, engineering budgets, and coordinating design teams would be beneficial.

You will ideally hold a degree or HNC in Civil or Structural Engineering or similar.
