A leading environmental consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Ecologist to their expanding team in Bristol, the organisation has built a strong presence across the UK by delivering high quality ecological advice. This position will suit a passionate Senior Ecologist eager to take on more responsibilities within a prestigious multidisciplinary setting in Bristol.

As a Senior Ecologist you will be in charge and manage a range of ecology projects from the start of the process through to delivery. This includes preparing and reviewing reports such as Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and protected species surveys. You will also coordinate fieldwork, provide guidance to junior team members, and contribute to client and project management.

What you will need

• Experience working as a Senior Ecologist
• Strong technical reporting and organisational skills
• Familiarity with UKHab surveys, BNG principles and tools such as QGIS
• Full UK driving license and full right to work in the UK
• Based in or within community range of Bristol
