Are you an experienced Client Service Manager with a background in Wealth Management and strong experience leading and developing client support teams?

We are working with an established UK Wealth Management firm that is looking for a Client Service Manager to take responsibility for a team of administrators across their South offices.

You can be based from any of the three offices, but flexibility to travel between locations is essential. Typically, you’ll visit Bristol and Birmingham every other week, with travel to the Dorset office around once or twice per month. All travel costs between offices will be covered.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring the team delivers an excellent level of service to both Financial Advisers and their clients. You’ll take ownership of team performance, workloads and service standards, while coaching and developing individuals through regular 1-2-1s, appraisals and ongoing training.

Beyond day-to-day management, you’ll have the opportunity to improve processes, introduce best practice and work closely with senior management, Financial Advisers and other areas of the business to improve operational efficiency and client outcomes.

What will you be doing?

• Managing, coaching and developing a team of Client Service Executives
• Overseeing workloads and priorities across multiple locations
• Ensuring SLAs and client service standards are consistently achieved
• Holding regular 1-2-1s, appraisals and performance reviews
• Identifying training and development requirements
• Recruiting and onboarding new team members when required
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency
• Working closely with Financial Advisers and senior management
• Supporting the integration of acquired businesses

Skills and experience required

• Strong line management experience is essential, ideally within a similar client service or adviser support environment
• Experience within Wealth Management, Financial Planning, Asset Management or a closely related sector
• Proven experience coaching, developing and performance-managing teams
• Strong understanding of front-to-back Wealth Management processes
• Ability to manage workloads, priorities and service standards across multiple teams
• Confident communicator who can work with and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills
• Flexibility to travel regularly between Bristol, Birmingham and Wimborne
