Salary: Up to £82,000 + benefits

Are you an experienced multi-site operations leader who knows how to drive performance through partners, franchisees or third-party operators?

We are working with a leading, high-profile retail business to appoint a Regional Operations Manager - Partnerships. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for a significant portfolio of partner-operated sites across the South West of England, combining commercial accountability with operational leadership, stakeholder management and transformation.

This opportunity could suit an experienced leader from Retail, Food, Hospitality, Convenience, Food-to-Go, Forecourt, Travel or another partner-led environment.

The Role

As Regional Operations Manager - Partnerships, you will take ownership of performance across a substantial regional portfolio, working closely with external partners and internal teams to deliver exceptional operational standards, commercial results and customer experience.

You will:

• Lead and influence performance across a large portfolio of partner-operated sites across the South West.

• Build strong, collaborative relationships with franchisees, licensees and partner businesses, creating alignment around commercial and operational objectives.

• Drive performance against key measures including sales, profitability, customer experience, operational standards and productivity.

• Ensure consistently high standards of presentation, service, availability, compliance and execution across the estate.

• Support partners in identifying opportunities to improve performance and unlock future growth.

• Work closely with internal regional and central teams to ensure initiatives, campaigns and new ways of working are implemented effectively.

• Lead through change, clearly communicating the why behind transformation and ensuring successful adoption.

• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency and challenge established ways of working.

• Use data, commercial insight and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities.

• Influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior partner contacts and central support functions.

• Challenge and collaborate constructively to ensure the right solutions are delivered for customers, colleagues and partners.

• Develop a culture of continuous improvement and high performance across the wider partner network.

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded, highly credible operations leader who is comfortable influencing without direct authority.

You will ideally have:

• Significant experience in a multi-site operational leadership role.

• A strong track record of delivering commercial and operational performance across a sizeable estate.

• Experience working within a franchise, partnership, licensing or third-party operating model.

• Excellent commercial awareness, with the ability to understand performance data and turn insight into action.

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

• Experience leading change, transformation or new ways of working across multiple sites.

• A proven ability to develop people and build high-performing teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to challenge existing processes.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Your Background

You don't need to come from a traditional Convenience retail background.
