I'm working with a highly regarded international law firm with an established reputation across private wealth and contentious probate. The firm is recognised by Legal 500 for Contentious Trusts & Probate, with its specialists also receiving recognition through the Chambers High Net Worth Guide. It has built a strong reputation for handling complex, high value matters for individuals, families and professional clients.

The Bristol office is growing, and this is an opportunity to join at a really interesting point in that growth.

The Role:

You'll join a specialist Wills, Trusts & Estates Disputes practice dealing with a broad mix of contentious private wealth work, including:

• Will validity and interpretation disputes
• Inheritance Act claims
• Trust disputes
• Proprietary estoppel
• Disputes involving executors, administrators and trustees
• Beneficiary disputes
• Estate administration disputes
• Lifetime gift disputes
• Professional negligence matters

The team works across both negotiation and litigation, taking a pragmatic approach to resolving disputes while having the experience to run matters through the courts where necessary. There is also the benefit of working alongside other specialist teams, including Private Client and International Law, where matters involve complex wealth structures or overseas assets.

Who Are They Looking For?

• You'll ideally be a lawyer with 4+ years' PQE and solid experience across Wills, Trusts and Estates Disputes/contentious probate.
• More important than ticking every box is being someone who enjoys this area of work, is comfortable dealing directly with clients and wants to be part of a team that is building something rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
