Senior Finance Business Partner - #2167091

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner to join a well-recognised Professional Services company based in Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£70,000 - £80,000 plus bonus and hybrid remote working

Roles and responsibilities over time will include but not limited to:

• Actively monitor and report on monthly P&L performance and KPIs with insightful analysis to identify areas for challenge and improvement
• Lead on the annual budget process, provide challenge and guidance to the Executive Team to ensure targets and assumptions are appropriate. Ensure deadlines are met and sufficient insightful analysis is provided to support approval by the Board. Support the Executive Team during budget presentations to the CEO and CFO
• Review and provide steer and challenge to the monthly forecasting process, provide informative analysis to enable the CFO, Board and Executive Team to effectively monitor performance against the annual budget
• Review performance of major contracts or projects against revenue and margin targets, and provide suggestions for areas of improvement
• Design appropriate commission schemes that ensure sales teams are motivated to succeed
• Create business models for approval of new product, price changes or project investments
• Provide support to commercial and sales teams negotiating large deals, by creating bespoke bid models and challenging acceptable commercial/financial parameters

Person specification:

• Qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with 5+ years PQE
• Successful track record as an experienced finance business partner
• Advanced excel skills for financial modelling
• Data driven with strong analytical skills, with the ability to unite and motivate people around decisions
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the financial and performance levers in the relevant business area, as well as wider business context
• Excellent verbal communication skills, used to communicate with executive management and other stakeholders
