Job Title:    Engineer Surveyor
Location:    South of UK
Salary:        Basic from £50,000 plus a Excellent Benefits Package
Shift:          Days, Monday – Friday, Flexible Working Hours

Job Role of the Engineer Surveyor.

A standout opportunity has become available for a Engineer Surveyor to join a leading inspection consultancy. Our client is looking for a existing Engineer Surveyor who has experience of inspecting Passenger Lifts and other equipment such as forklifts, mobile elevated working platforms,  cranes and minor pressure equipment.

You will be responsible for inspection to help identify defects and help prevent potential, avoidable defects and complete detailed reports.You will be required to make sure all customers are compliant with LOLER / PUWAR regulations and provide excellent levels of customer service.

Sector – Inspection (Field Service)

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Engineer Surveyor

• Must be an Existing Engineer Surveyor or worked within the Inspection Industry.
• Hands on experience of working with and inspecting Passenger Lifts.

Requirements for the Engineer Surveyor

• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Mechanical engineering qualification, Minimum NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent, Ideally HNC or Level 4 Equivalent.
• Experience working on or with various pieces of lifting equipment and minor pressure equipment within manufacturing, military, marine, distribution or field service environments.
• Live in the South of the UK and be prepared to travel or stay away from home during the week.

Desirable Requirements for the Engineer Surveyor

• Excellent knowledge of LOLER/PUWAR Regulations.
