Facilities Manager - #2151285

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Compliance Activities - Building LEV (local exhaust ventilation), fire safety, legionella - assessing current stage and driving what needs to support continuous development. Problem analysis and solutions.
• Review heating systems, chilled water systems, driving remedial actions through to completion.
• Support project planning activities as needed
• Asset replacement schedule - support a move to proactive maintenance.
• Supporting process and procedure capability development.
• Contractor/Vendor Management
• Management of work permits for high-risk work.

Key Candidate Requirements:

• Experienced Hard Services Manager - "been there done that".
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems commonly found in complex/advanced manufacturing facilities. Relevant qualifications would be desirable. For example, CIBSE.
• R&D or Advanced Manufacturing Building experience.
• Facilities & Building Maintenance background.
• Record keeping experience
• Demonstratable experience issuing contractor permits for high-risk activities. E.g work at height.
• Good communication & stakeholder management skills
