Rate: £350–£400 per shift

Abatec Recruitment is looking for an experienced Site Agent to join our client’s team on an ongoing freelance basis, working across the Bristol Water framework.

We are looking for someone with strong experience working on water infrastructure projects who can confidently manage site operations, coordinate subcontractors and workforce, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Agent / Site Manager within the water or utilities sector (associated sectors also considered)
• Strong understanding of civil engineering and water infrastructure works
• Ideally, previous experience with pipeline construction, pipelaying, trunk mains and / or pipeline renovation / rehabilitation
• Relevant industry qualifications and cards
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive approach to health, safety and quality
• Working to programme, quality and client requirements
• Liaising with project management teams, clients and other stakeholders
• Managing site teams and subcontractors
