Business Development Manager – South West (Financial Intermediaries)

Location: South West England (Field-Based)

An established and highly regarded investment business is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to take ownership of its South West intermediary market.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional with an established network across Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs), wealth management firms and financial planning practices. You'll be responsible for growing existing relationships while identifying new opportunities across the region, representing a respected investment proposition within the tax-efficient investment market.

You'll have the freedom to manage your own territory, build a regional strategy and make a genuine impact on business growth, backed by a strong internal support team and a recognised brand.

Reporting into the National Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing adviser relationships throughout the South West and increasing assets under management through intermediary distribution.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Building long-term partnerships with financial advisers, wealth managers and key intermediary firms.
2. Identifying and converting new business opportunities across the territory.
3. Delivering engaging face-to-face and virtual presentations to adviser firms.
4. Supporting advisers with technical discussions around tax-efficient investment solutions.
5. Attending regional events, conferences and networking opportunities to enhance brand presence.
6. Working closely with internal sales and marketing teams to maximise opportunities.
7. Achieving and exceeding regional sales objectives.

We're keen to speak with individuals who have:

1. A successful track record selling investment solutions through the UK intermediary market.
2. Strong relationships with financial advisers across the South West.
3. Experience within tax-efficient investments such as VCTs, Business Relief, EIS or broader investment products.
4. Excellent consultative sales and relationship management skills.
5. The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative national sales team.
6. High levels of commercial awareness, drive and ambition.
