Role information:
We are currently recruiting for a Project Scheduler/Planner to support the planning and successful delivery of complex engineering and infrastructure projects across the energy, nuclear, renewables and wider low carbon sectors.

You will play a key role in developing, maintaining and analysing project schedules throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that accurate planning information is available to support project delivery. Working closely with Project Managers, Project Controls teams, engineers and stakeholders, you will provide schedule insight, identify potential delays and risks, and support decision making.

Using Primavera P6, Microsoft MSP and other planning tools, you will develop integrated project schedules, monitor progress, forecast outcomes and analyse schedule performance against key milestones and delivery objectives.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
*Developing, maintaining and updating project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft MSP.
*Creating Work Breakdown Structures, activity networks and resource loaded schedules where required.
*Monitoring project progress, updating schedules to reflect actual performance, and producing schedule forecasts.
*Identifying critical paths, schedule risks, delays and opportunities, and proposing mitigation or recovery actions.
*Producing progress reports, dashboards and performance metrics to support project governance and decision making.
*Supporting Project Managers and project teams with planning, sequencing, schedule optimisation and change impact assessment activities.
*Coordinating with engineering, procurement, commercial and project controls teams to ensure schedule alignment across project activities.
*Performing schedule analysis, including critical path analysis, what-if scenarios and schedule assurance reviews.

Qualifications/Experience
*Experience scheduling complex engineering or infrastructure projects, with knowledge of APM or PMI project management frameworks.
*5+ Years Experience using Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft MSP.
*Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling principles, including integrated schedule development, dependency management and critical path analysis.
*Experience monitoring progress, forecasting completion dates and reporting schedule performance.
*Experience supporting multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating schedule interfaces between stakeholders.
*Knowledge of schedule risk analysis techniques and planning assurance processes.
*Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a similar technical discipline - Desirable
