Are you resilient, adaptable and ready to make a real difference behind the scenes? Tate is looking for a highly organised Business Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative and business support within a Youth Justice Team.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. Working as part of a multidisciplinary Youth Justice Team, you will respond to changing priorities, manage urgent and unplanned requests, and help ensure services continue to run smoothly. The role would suit someone who can stay calm under pressure, manage a dynamic workload and approach new challenges with confidence.
Role responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative and business support to the Youth Justice Team.
- Manage a varied workload, responding flexibly to urgent, unplanned and changing priorities.
- Maintain accurate records, update systems and ensure information is handled appropriately and confidentially.
- Support meetings by preparing documents, taking notes or minutes, and following up agreed actions where required.
- Liaise professionally with internal colleagues, partner agencies and external stakeholders.
- Process referrals, correspondence, data and service requests in line with agreed procedures and timescales.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the team by identifying issues, escalating concerns and supporting continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

You will be standards-driven, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to delivering excellent service, even when working to tight deadlines or under pressure.
You will be resilient and able to maintain professionalism and composure when handling sensitive or challenging material.
You will be flexible, curious and willing to learn new areas of work, including criminal justice and wider support services.
