Job Title: Associate Financial Adviser

Location: South West or London

Salary: Up to £50,000+Bonus

REF: 10561

Recruit UK is working with a well-established and highly regarded Financial Planning firm in the South West that is looking to appoint Associate Financial Advisers as part of its continued growth.

With a strong presence across Exeter, Bristol, Bath, and London our client is keen to speak with experienced Level 4 Diploma qualified financial services professionals either currently paraplanning or in a similar role who share their client-first approach and can become a trusted, long-term pair of hands for their clients.

This is an opportunity to join a business known for it’s supportive, collaborative culture, backed by a larger and ambitious wealth management group.

The opportunity

You'll join the firm's growing focused Financial Planning team, managing and developing a portfolio of existing clients, primarily with up to £250k in investable assets. You'll provide holistic financial advice across investments, pensions, retirement and estate planning, building long-term relationships and delivering an excellent client experience.

You'll benefit from a strong support structure, with experienced senior Financial Planners providing ongoing support and mentoring. The model is designed to give you the capacity to focus on client relationships and high-quality advice, while continuing to develop your technical and advice skills.

There's also a clear route for progression. High-performing planners can develop through the team and, as they gain experience and progress towards Chartered status, move into face-to-face Financial Planning roles within the wider business.

With further acquisitions planned, the client base continues to grow, creating opportunities to take on new relationships. The business is also investing in how it segments and services its client base, making this a strong opportunity to join a developing proposition within an ambitious, growing wealth management group.

What's on offer?

  • Basic salary up to £50,000 depending on experience (negotiable)
  • Bonus scheme
  • Client bank / strong lead source
  • 25 days' holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service)

  • Flexible/hybrid working
  • Strong support infrastructure

  • Experienced Associate or Trainee Financial Planner/Financial Adviser or a qualified Paraplanner ready to step up
  • Working towards Chartered status (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
