Client Support Manager
Location: Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 days home following probation)
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and client-focused Client Support Manager to join our growing financial services team. This is a pivotal role responsible for delivering exceptional service to high-net-worth clients while supporting Financial Planners and ensuring the smooth processing of new and existing business.
The successful candidate will act as a primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships, resolving queries, coordinating administrative processes, and ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
This role would suit an experienced financial services administrator or client support professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing a consistently high level of service.
- Act as a main point of contact for clients, handling enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Business Processing & Administration
- Process new business applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
- Liaise with Financial Planners and internal teams to resolve any compliance or documentation issues.
- Manage policy alterations including surrenders, switches and withdrawals in line with regulatory requirements.
- Check policy documentation for accuracy and issue to clients in accordance with company procedures.
- Obtain and validate policy information from product providers, following up on any missing details.
- Prepare accurate client valuations and investigate any discrepancies identified.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience within a financial services, wealth management, independent financial advisory (IFA) or similar environment.
- Strong client relationship and customer service skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM/back-office systems.
- Ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a team environment.
