The Role

You'll advise a broad client base on a wide range of employment matters, including both contentious and non-contentious work. The team acts for employers across a variety of sectors, providing pragmatic, commercial advice on issues such as:

  • Day-to-day HR and employment law queries
  • Employment contracts, policies and procedures
  • Disciplinary, grievance and capability matters
  • Redundancy and restructuring projects
  • Employment Tribunal litigation
  • Settlement agreements
  • TUPE and corporate support work

You'll work closely with experienced colleagues, benefiting from excellent supervision, mentoring and genuine opportunities to develop your expertise.

About You

Applications are welcomed from solicitors who are:

  • NQ to 3 years' PQE solicitor with employment law experience gained during training or post-qualification (the ideal candidate will be a minimum of 1PQE but any candidates at the NQ level with exceptional employment law experience may be considered).
  • Commercially minded with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to manage a varied caseload while delivering outstanding client service.
  • Keen to develop their career within a collaborative, high-performing team.

The Firm

This is an opportunity to join a well-established UK Top 100 law firm recognised for its supportive culture, investment in people and commitment to career development. The firm offers exposure to high-quality work, a collaborative environment and clear progression opportunities.

What's on Offer

  • High-quality work with a diverse client base.
  • Excellent training and career progression opportunities.
  • Flexible hybrid working, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in the Bristol office.
  • A supportive and inclusive working environment where you can build a long-term career.
