Due to continued growth, our client is seeking talented Bodily Injury Motor Claims Handlers to manage a caseload of OIC portal cases and / or non portal Fast Track RTA claims (over £25k).
THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE ROLE
Our client is interested in speaking with candidates who have had previous and recent experience in handling Bodily Injury cases (OIC portal experience is a must and preferably MOJ portal and non portal experience).
Salary: Up to £36,000 depending on level of experience and the role (e.g. OIC or MOJ/non portal) - plus extensive benefits

You will be expected to effectively manage a portfolio of Bodily Injury claims. As part of your ongoing training, you will be provided with the right skills in commercial decision making to ensure indemnity spend is minimised.
Through full training and continuous coaching inhouse you will be given full in-depth FCA regulated industry knowledge and have all the tools necessary to help you personally grow your career with the business and service our client's customers with all complex queries.
What you will be doing:
- Validate all claims for indemnity and fraud
- Responsible for a high-volume caseload of files, making use of the firm’s Case Management Systems and using the agreed internal procedures and practices
- To ensure that the case management system is used and updated at all times
- To use all communication mediums to ensure that cases are progressed as quickly as practicable
- To progress your caseload in a manner to ensure that source and lay clients receive appropriate, professional, timely and pertinent advice, with regular contact, whilst managing their expectations
- Take a practical but commercial approach to settlements and advising clients as to risks
- Proactive and correct assessment of liability
- Accurate quantum assessment of claims presented using the relevant tools available to assist
- Application of accurate reserves in line with company guidelines
- Adherence to best practice and key strategies
- Accountability for own performance against set objectives
What we’re looking for:
- Substantial experience of managing your own caseload of Motor OIC and/or MOJ / Fast Track/non-portal claims
- Excellent litigator with strong drafting skills and the ability to negotiate appropriate settlements at the optimum time.
- A solid working knowledge of the CPR, legislation and relevant case law.
- Competent working with a case management system and good knowledge of MS Office.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Focus on delivering quality service to clients and the firm.
