An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Bristol. The successful candidate will take a lead role in managing a portfolio of audit clients, supervising junior staff, and supporting Managers and Partners in the delivery of high quality audit work. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong UK audit experience to take the next step into a role with greater autonomy, client exposure, and long term progression potential within a highly regarded firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a varied portfolio of audit clients from planning through to completion
  • Supervising, coaching, and reviewing the work of junior audit staff
  • Liaising directly with clients to build strong working relationships
  • Reporting audit findings to Managers and Partners with clear recommendations
  • Assisting with budgeting, billing, and job profitability on audit assignments
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Strong technical audit knowledge and up to date with current standards
  • Proven ability to manage staff and client relationships effectively
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
