As one of our Technology Leads, we will be looking for you to take ownership of the Datacentre Network Engineering space by leading from the front.
The Technology Lead – Data Centre Networking is accountable for leading the technical direction and implementation of our data centre network strategy and infrastructure. This role provides technical leadership, guidance, and expertise in the design, deployment, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and secure data centre network solutions.
Some Key Responsibilities
As one of our Technology Leads, you will have significant experience in a technical lead or senior network engineering role with a focus on data centers. You will also display the ability to lead by example in implementing a new strategic plan.

The Technology Lead – Data Centre Networking is accountable for leading the technical direction and implementation of our data centre network strategy and infrastructure. This role provides technical leadership, guidance, and expertise in the design, deployment, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and secure data centre network solutions.
Some Key Responsibilities
- Owning and maintaining the data centre network architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices that guide the wider organization.
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to network engineering teams focused on data centre infrastructure.
- Leading the design and implementation of data centre network architectures for complex solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Working proactively with compliance, risk, and security functions to identify and address data centre network-related issues and blockers.
- Collaborating closely with Security, infrastructure, and global development teams to ensure our data centre network is secure, scalable, and aligned with industry and regulatory standards.
As one of our Technology Leads, you will have significant experience in a technical lead or senior network engineering role with a focus on data centers. You will also display the ability to lead by example in implementing a new strategic plan.
Other Key Skills Required For The Role Include
- Expert experience in the design and implementation of a diverse range of data centre network solutions and services, including technologies such as switching, routing, firewalls, load balancers, and network automation.
- Experience in the implementation of architecture processes and governance within a data centre networking context.
- Ability to present technical data centre network solution designs and justifications to all levels of the organisation, as well as manage expectations when balancing solution alternatives against business constraints and technological realities.
- Ability to balance long-term strategic goals with short-term implications and decisions.
- Strong capability to collaborate and communicate well, building great working relationships, influencing others, and showing a high level of curiosity.
