for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their expert team of design engineers, based in the contemporary riverside city of Bristol.

In your exciting new role of Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer, you will join a specialist team of experts in the field, with a view to developing your career as you progress. The role will involve a number of varied responsibilities, including:
Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports
Supporting planning applications, from minor projects through to major developments Conducting internet:based research and writing extensive reports
Producing drawings and plans (using AutoCAD and lnfoDrainage software) to accompany the relevant reports

Essential Criteria
- A Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field
- Working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (i.e., S38, S102, S104) Competent in the use of MicroDrainage WinDES, AutoCAD, and other, similar software packages
It would also benefit applicants for the role of Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to possess the following skills:
- A full UK drivers licence
- Working knowledge of planning and technical guidelines, including the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), CIRIA SuDS Design Manual, Sewer Sector Guidance, and Building Regulations
In your exciting new role of Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer, you will join a specialist team of experts in the field, with a view to developing your career as you progress. The role will involve a number of varied responsibilities, including:
Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports
Supporting planning applications, from minor projects through to major developments Conducting internet:based research and writing extensive reports
Producing drawings and plans (using AutoCAD and lnfoDrainage software) to accompany the relevant reports
- Visiting sites and attending team meetings
