About The Role

Be part of this ‘once in a generation’ project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable load low-carbon electricity.

The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O’Rourke.

What you'll be doing

Job Purpose / Overview

The Team Administrator role will support the SZC team by taking responsibility for the OnBoarding, vetting and compliance on the project to meet client approval processes and the SQEP (suitably qualified experienced person) procedures and monitoring the ongoing compliance for all who have site access.

  • To engage with the relevant stakeholders to ensure an efficient and effective OnBoarding process.
  • Collecting and storing workforce data on the WIMS system.
  • Complete the on-boarding process from start to finish, ensuring key stakeholders are updated each way of the process to ensure workforce labour plans and resourcing plans can be managed.
  • Ensuring all staff, workforce and supply chain proposed to join the project have had their competencies assessed and verified in line with the SQEP (Suitably Qualified Experienced Person) procedure and approving individuals for appointment to the project.
  • Collating and checking information required for the SZC pre-employment screening and submitting applications via the WIMS system for approval. Monitoring progress through to approval stage.
  • Booking employees onto the SZC induction
  • Ensuring Drugs & Alcohol testing has taken place for all new hires
  • Ensuring pre-placement medical questionnaire and safety critical medicals (where required) have been complete.
  • Oversee and manage post requisite requirement set by the client.
  • Support the People partner to complete the process for role requisitions and gaining PID for OnBoarding new staff.
  • Liaising with recruitment team and supporting with hiring and onboarding of new staff
  • Liaising with people partners to help set up new starts with IT and access to the new starter share point.
  • Maintain full confidentiality of sensitive business issues
