A small group of our Kiddi Caru Day Nurseries in Bristol, part of Grandir UK, are currently looking for a Casual Nursery Worker to join our team. You’ll be working hard to care for, support, share a story or two, and have fun to meet the needs of our children. This casual worker ideally needs to have a Level 2/3 childcare qualification to support the already existing team. The group of nurseries that require the support are our Brislington, Crews Hole, Hengrove and Hanham Nurseries, further hours can be gained if there is an ability to travel to more than one, this can be discussed at screening.

What will you be doing:

• Provide a positive practice role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained
• Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is afforded to all staff, parents and children
• Supervise and support children at all times
• Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
• Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
• Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
• Ensure that any changes to policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to within the required timescale
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation stage
• Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and work colleagues
• Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
• Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
