About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electric Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in installing and maintaining electronic security systems, including CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems. This is a field-based role covering Bristol and nearby regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission intruder alarms, CCTV systems (including IP-based), and access control systems.
  • Maintain, service, and fault-find on systems including Lenel, Texecom, Galaxy, and other IP-based security systems.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and respond to reactive faults.
  • Complete system upgrades, configuration, and integration testing.
  • Communicate with clients regarding system performance and issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports, installation records, and certification.
  • Ensure all work complies with current standards and health & safety regulations.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience with electronic security systems installation and maintenance.
  • Technical knowledge of Lenel, Texecom, and Galaxy systems.
  • Experience with IP-based CCTV and access control platforms.
  • Strong fault-finding, wiring, and commissioning skills.
  • Good communication and organisational abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Manufacturer training and certifications (Lenel, Milestone, Texecom, Paxton, Galaxy)
  • NVQ Level 2/3
