Established in 2019, we are currently a growing team of 34, aiming to become the number one choice for B2B payments within the UK and EEA (European Economic Area).

Job Summary
We are looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to join our expanding sales team. In this role, you will be a key player in generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. You will focus on proactive outreach to potential clients, qualifying leads, and scheduling meetings for the Senior Business Development team. Responsibilities:
Cold Lead Outreach:
- Conduct extensive cold outreach through calls, emails, and LinkedIn to identify and engage potential clients
- Develop and refine compelling messaging that resonates with target audiences and generates interest
- Effectively articulate the company's value proposition and unique selling points
Lead Qualification:
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to determine their suitability and potential for conversion
- Gather key information about prospects' needs, challenges, and decision-making processes
- Accurately track and document lead qualification activities in the CRM system
Meeting Scheduling:
- Secure meetings and product demonstrations for the Senior BDM team by effectively communicating the value of the company's offerings
- Coordinate schedules and manage calendar invites to ensure efficient meeting arrangements
Relationship Building:
- Initiate and nurture relationships with potential clients through consistent and professional communication
- Represent the company positively and build a strong first impression
Sales Support:
- Provide support to the Senior BDM team by conducting research, preparing presentations, and gathering market intelligence
- Contribute to the development and improvement of sales processes and strategies
Qualifications:
- Proven experience: 2 - 5 years of experience in a sales or business development role, with experience in cold outreach
- Proactivity: Being comfortable with using the phone and being in a direct outreach environment
- Industry: Experience working in or with either the travel or payments industry
- Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively
- Proficiency in outreach tools: Familiarity with sales engagement platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Resilience and persistence: Ability to handle objections and remain motivated in a fast-paced sales environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively
- Team player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
