Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, or a closely related subject.

  • 5+ years' experience in acoustic consultancy.

  • Strong technical background in environmental and/or building acoustics.

  • Knowledge of relevant UK standards (BS4142, BS8233, BB93, ProPG).

  • Experience managing projects and working directly with clients.

  • Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members.

The Role: As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality acoustic assessments across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, infrastructure, and planning. You'll support project management, technical delivery, and team development while working closely with both public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting noise and vibration monitoring and acoustic assessments.

  • Producing detailed reports for planning and compliance.

  • Managing client relationships and overseeing project delivery.

  • Supporting junior staff and contributing to quality control.

  • Attending site visits and design meetings as needed.

This is a full-time, Bristol-based position, offering a competitive salary (£45,000 to £60,000), pension, private medical cover, and long-term opportunities for progression into principal or associate-level roles within a supportive consultancy environment.
