THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Systems Design Engineer to support the Head of C2 Subsystem on the program. The role focuses on in-service support and design change activities, including requirements analysis, system definition, and verification & validation (V&V).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Requirements Analysis & Derivation: Update Software and Hardware. Requirement Specifications. Maintain traceability from C2 Technical Requirements to subsystem specifications.
• Architecture & Functional Design: Analyse system interfaces and derive behaviour. Conduct system design studies & trade-offs. Co-specify and document system design.
• Verification & Validation : Develop subsystem verification plans. Define test scenarios and success criteria. Execute tests, record results, and manage non-conformances Provide evidence for design certification.
• Technical Support: Review Technical Publications to align with design changes.
• Current Focus Areas: Proving: Establish requirements verification approach and plan for a new product.
• Architecture & Functional Design: Capture evolving subsystem design and support design reviews
  
  

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Experience in systems engineering, requirements management, and V&V.
• Familiarity with C2 subsystems and system design processes.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skil ls.
