Job Title: Director Financial Planning

We are seeking a talented and motivated Director Financial Planning professional to join our Financial Planning team in Bristol. As an integral part of our financial planning department, you will be required to business develop and grow new business across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are currently a Financial Planner or Associate Director looking for a step up.


Key Responsibilities


  • Enthusiastically build and develop new client relationships through effective ongoing business development

  • Ensure client files are carefully maintained with client details regularly updated where needed

  • Plan, implement, and execute the annual Business Plan

  • Support the growth of the business, working with the director/partner group on key commercial pillars

  • Work in partnership with Investment Management (IM) to develop client relationships

  • Structure and lead client meetings ensuring all information and advice is accurate


Skills and Experience


  • Proven ability to deal with new and existing clients on a fee basis

  • Ability to understand and communicate advice practices and processes clearly and effectively

  • A strong ethic of client and customer service

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should:



  • Hold a relevant Level 4 qualification or above (ideally Level 6) and maintain an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing

  • Experience with matrimonial, vulnerable, or Personal Injury clients would be advantageous

  • Experience in developing new business

  • Experience in relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
