Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Teaching Assistants to join the team, playing a pivotal role in the success of an SEMH school. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted support to students with SEMH needs, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and deliver captivating and differentiated lessons.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Education Care Plans (ECPs) for students.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment, championing emotional well:being and positive behaviour.
- Lead small group interventions to support students social and emotional development.
- Contribute to the assessment and tracking of students progress, offering feedback to teaching staff and parents.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including educational psychologists and external agencies.
- Relevant TA experience.
- Previous engagement with students with SEMH needs.
- A strong grasp of SEMH strategies and interventions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
