Our client, a fast-growing and forward-thinking energy consultancy based in central Bristol, is on the lookout for an ambitious Business Development Executive to join their dynamic team.


This is more than just a sales role - it's a chance to be the engine behind business growth in a company that's shaping how businesses manage their energy. Specialising in the procurement of gas, electricity, and water, our client is making waves in the utilities sector, and they're looking for someone who isn't afraid to pick up the phone and make their mark.


What You'll Be Doing:



  • Hunting for Opportunities - You'll lead from the front by identifying and reaching out to prospective clients through cold calling, outbound campaigns, and market research.


  • Driving Sales Growth - Manage the full sales cycle, from the initial pitch through to close, while ensuring all activity is compliant and customer-focused.


  • Building Pipelines - Use modern CRM tools to create and nurture a robust pipeline of prospects and opportunities.


  • Crafting Proposals - Work closely with internal pricing and procurement teams to deliver tailored, impactful proposals.


  • Representing the Brand - Attend events and networking opportunities to raise the profile of the company and bring in new leads.


  • Adding Value - Spot opportunities for cross-selling additional energy services, such as sustainability and compliance solutions.


What They're Looking For:


  • A proven B2B sales performer with a fearless approach to cold calling.

  • A natural communicator who's comfortable pitching at all levels.

  • Organised, self-motivated, and relentless in the pursuit of targets.

  • Ideally experienced in the energy, utilities, or sustainability sector - or quick to learn it.

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and a regulated sales environment is a plus.
