- Economic crime practitioner: Deep experience of risk management, particularly fraud and financial crime, control by design, policy compliance, governance and regulatory knowledge (including consumer duty)
- Leadership and a solution focused: shown ability to build, lead and inspire an engaged, diverse, solution focused and high performing team both on and offshore
- Influence and commercial approach: confirmed ability to support the growth of the IP&I business, build automated controls which are sustainable and scalable, mitigate challenges and drive good customer outcomes, including those for vulnerable customers.
- Innovation/Transformation: experience of redefining and changing businesses sustainably, with a particular focus on using data to provide insights, bringing to bear new technologies, process reengineering, innovation and cost of control.
- People/stakeholder management: excellent interpersonal and presentational skills. This also includes the ability to work across different Group functions to ensure IP&I is represented.
- Knowledge of Insurance, Pensions & Investments: previous experience and knowledge of insurance, investments, pensions and the technology landscape will provide a strong foundation for the role and support delivering solutions and stakeholder engagement.
- Agility and growth mindset; proactively and pragmatically identify and resolve challenges and lead ad hoc control focused initiatives which support the growth of the business, including targeted testing. Be comfortable shaping solutions and dealing with ambiguity as you develop what good looks like.
