The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a talented "Structural Engineer" to join their team and contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects. You'll be working on residential developments, refurbishment of existing structures, commercial adaptations, and urban infill projects across the Bristol area.

Your Responsibilities

As a Structural Engineer, you'll design and analyse structural systems for both new buildings and renovations. You'll prepare detailed structural calculations and drawings, conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, and collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and clients. The role involves developing creative solutions to complex structural challenges while ensuring all designs comply with current building regulations and standards.

Your Background

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and either hold professional qualifications or be working toward chartered status. Experience with residential and refurbishment projects is essential, as is proficiency with structural analysis software. You should possess strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
