We're looking for passionate and experienced professionals to join our dynamic team and contribute to the groundbreaking project - Hinkley Point C. As a Designer with us, you'll be at the heart of our engineering excellence, managing and coordinating with sub-contractors to ensure precision in Piping, Mechanical, and Anchorage scopes. Your expertise will be pivotal in reviewing and performing critical design calculations, ensuring they meet our stringent contract and quality standards. Collaboration is key; you’ll work closely with the Technical Manager, site engineers, and finance teams to keep our projects on track and deliver outstanding results
Your Main Responsibilities:
Sub-Contractor Management: Lead and oversee our calculation service providers, maintaining the highest standards of precision and efficiency
Design Calculation Review: Timely evaluation of sub-contractor calculations to ensure compliance with requirements
Technical Support: Provide essential support for anchorage calculations, site installations, and PIA assessments
Procurement Involvement: Play an active role in the technical selection and procurement of equipment
Health & Safety: Uphold our commitment to health and safety by adhering to the company's policies and plans
Communication & Claims Management: Prepare responses to client communications and claims, collaborating closely with the Technical Manager.What We’re Looking For:
