A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Engineering Trials Lead to play a pivotal role in certifying missile sub-systems for production by leading their mechanical, climatic, and EMC qualification trials.

Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for translating verification plans into structured trial instructions, overseeing test execution, and delivering high-quality trial reports to support critical certification activities. You will collaborate closely with sub-system and test equipment design teams, as well as experts in EMC, mechanical, and climatic testing, ensuring rigorous and reliable testing across multiple sites. Additionally, you will work with safety, quality, and security specialists to uphold compliance with industry best practices and provide essential evidence for the qualification of designs before production.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of electronic and mechanical engineering fundamentals
  • Knowledge of EMC and/or RF testing
  • Familiarity with actuator and radio technologies
  • Experience in producing structured trial instructions and high-quality test reports
  • Proven experience of conducting field and/or lab trials
  • Experience in testing hardware in mechanical, climatic, and EMC environments
  • An awareness of quality control processes and safe manual handling practices
