General Manager - Engineering & Fabrication - #1673040

We have an exciting opportunity to lead a firm who are a leading subcontractor to heavy industries from energy, defence and rail, right the way through to farming equipment! You will have full control of everything from P&L, Projects and the People in the facility.

This role would suit a dynamic, commercially-minded individual with a proven track record in engineering leadership. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience within fabrication or laser-cutting environments, and a passion for driving performance, innovation, and customer satisfaction in a high-growth setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and drive continuous improvement across all operational functions.


• Manage a team of over 100 staff, overseeing recruitment, development, and performance.


• Maintain outstanding customer service standards and ensure consistent service delivery.


• Monitor budgets, analyse financial data, and meet profitability targets.


• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.

In return you’ll receive a salary up to £80k, + Company Car and be part of a Bonus scheme that could see a significant uplift on the base salary.
