We are looking for a talented and motivated PHY Software Engineer to join our team within our central Bristol office. The role will involve active participation in the design, development and validation of all G Physical Layer Radio Access Network technologies.

We are looking for a talented and motivated PHY Software Engineer to join our team within our central Bristol office. The role will involve active participation in the design, development and validation of all G Physical Layer Radio Access Network technologies.
What you’ll do:
- Take an active role in the full development life cycle of PHY features, from initial design through to integration in an end-to-end system
- Implement product features in C++, using all your skills to produce highly efficient solutions
- Create and implement test plans to validate functional and compute performance (within our continuous integration environment)
- Drive the system integration of new features, working with teams in UK, Israel, and India
- Work within a well-equipped laboratory with state-of-the-art test tools – RF equipment, UE emulators, commercial UEs
- Strong C and/or C++ skills
- Experience of real-time embedded software in the Linux environment
- Knowledge of 4G or 5G Physical Layer
- Experience with working in an integration/lab type environment
- Python experience and advantage
- Knowledge of Matlab/Octave an advantage
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Communications Engineering or other relevant field.
