An excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Solicitor to step into a broader, strategic role within a highly successful Legal 100 law firm.
Working closely with an established Commercial team, you'll play a key role in developing technical knowledge, supporting the team's growth and driving forward innovation, including the use of legal technology and AI.
This is a newly created position, giving you real scope to shape the role, influence how the team works and make a wider contribution to the department. It's also a great opportunity for someone looking to move into their first knowledge or Professional Support role.
The role
- Take responsibility for developing and maintaining the Commercial team's knowledge resources, precedents, templates and guidance.
- Work across a broad range of areas including data protection, technology, IT, intellectual property and commercial contracts.
- Keep abreast of legal, regulatory and market developments, translating these into practical guidance and updates for the team.
- Champion legal technology, AI and knowledge management solutions to improve efficiency and client service.
What will you need?
- Qualified Commercial Solicitor, with experience across data protection, technology, IT and intellectual property.
- Senior Associate through to Managing Associate level, depending on experience.
- A genuine interest in knowledge development, training and improving how legal services are delivered.
- Strong legal research, drafting and communication skills.
- Confidence in delivering training and engaging with colleagues at all levels.
