HGV 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver – Bristol – £15.92 Per Hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV 7.5 Tonne Delivery Drivers to join our well-established client based in Bristol.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, 7.5T Delivery Driver, Category C1 Driver, HGV Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or Truck Driver.

Shifts

• Start times between 05:00 and 06:30
• Ongoing, full-time work
• Working days to be confirmed

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Safely operating a 7.5 Tonne vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries
• Delivering palletised goods, with vehicles loaded the night before
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues
• Ensuring all loads are secured correctly and transported safely
• Maintaining accurate delivery and compliance records
• Communicating effectively with depot and delivery teams
• Following food hygiene and temperature control regulations when transporting food

Essential Skills

To be successful as an HGV 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, you will need:

• Valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
• Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category C1 vehicles
• Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences, with no IN, DR, DD or CD endorsement codes
• Good communication and English language skills
• A reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
• Good understanding of traffic laws and road safety regulations
• Ability to pass the required DBS background check

Desirable Experience

• Previous commercial driving experience
• Experience completing multi-drop deliveries
• Previous experience transporting food or temperature-controlled goods

Training Provided

• Vehicle safety and compliance training
• Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
