Our client is an established MCS-accredited renewables company looking for a Mobile Renewables Supervisor to cover the Southwest. With a background in ASHP installations, you'll oversee projects from initial site surveys through to commissioning and customer handovers, supporting installers and ensuring quality standards are met.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced ASHP installer looking to step away from the tools and move into a supervisory role while still using their hands-on industry experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Site Surveys & Installation: Carry out site surveys, discuss system requirements with installers and homeowners, prepare quotations, oversee the commissioning of Air Source Heat Pump systems, complete customer handovers and resolve any issues through follow-up visits.
System Design & Planning: Complete room-by-room heat loss calculations and design suitable heating systems to meet each property's requirements. Prepare system proposals and quotations to support the sales team, ensuring all project information is accurate and up to date within the CRM system.
MCS Compliance & Quality: Act as the Nominated Technical Supervisor for all regional MCS projects, ensuring subcontracted installations meet MCS standards and Building Regulations, while maintaining high standards of installation quality and workmanship.
Installer Support & Relationships: Provide ongoing technical support to installers by phone and remotely, helping resolve installation queries and troubleshoot problems. Build strong working relationships with installers and act as their main point of contact for technical advice and support.
What We're Looking For
Plumbing & Heating: Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification.
Heat Pumps: LCL/BPEC Heat Pump Design & Installation qualification.
Compliance: G3 Unvented Hot Water, WRAS and a good understanding of MCS standards.
Technical Expertise: Previous ASHP installation experience, with knowledge of low-temperature hydraulic design and electrical fault-finding.
Experience: A strong background in renewable heating installations, ideally with experience supporting or overseeing installation teams.

Annual leave, increasing with length of service.
Generous pension scheme, matched up to 9%.
Opportunity to earn additional bonuses.
Enhanced maternity/adoption leave.
Access to a range of online and high street discounts.
