£85,000 to £115,000 per annum (DOE) | Permanent, full time

A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Bristol is looking for a CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified Corporate Tax Director to help shape its corporate tax offering and lead a strong team.

You’d hold overall responsibility for a complex client portfolio and work closely with the partners on driving growth. It suits someone who pairs technical depth with commercial instinct and genuine leadership. Crowe Watson Recruitment places accountancy professionals from trainee through to Partner and knows the Bristol and wider South West corporate tax market at senior level.

What’s the day to day of the role:

• Taking overall responsibility for a portfolio of corporate tax clients
• Leading client relationships and winning new business from existing and new contacts
• Supporting and developing associate directors and the wider team
• Delivering strong client service while managing conduct risk
• Working with partners to shape how the firm goes to market
• Contributing to the running of the department

Required skills and qualifications:

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with strong corporate tax expertise
• At least eight years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
• Track record at senior manager or director level on complex technical matters
• Experience leading client relationships and bringing in new work
• Proven people leadership, with others you’ve developed
• Strong communicator with a commercial outlook
