Marketing Executive

Location: North Bristol/Hybrid working - office presence 4 days per week/remote 1 day

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

We're looking for a Marketing Executive to join a growing business and play an important part in its marketing activity.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting involved in all aspects of marketing. From coordinating campaigns and creating content to managing social media, supporting events and looking at what's working, you'll help ensure marketing activity runs smoothly and makes a positive impact.

Working alongside colleagues across the business, as well as external agencies and suppliers, you'll help bring ideas to life, keep projects moving and make sure activity is delivered on time and to a high standard.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Coordinating campaign schedules, deadlines and deliverables, keeping everyone involved up to date.
• Creating, coordinating and distributing marketing content, including emails, social media posts, blogs, newsletters and promotional materials.
• Keeping website content and marketing materials up to date.
• Managing and scheduling social media content, monitoring engagement and looking for opportunities to improve reach.
• Supporting email marketing activity, including maintaining databases and managing audience lists.
• Working with external content providers, designers and agencies to produce marketing materials.
• Helping to improve digital marketing activity through SEO, website analysis and performance monitoring.
• Supporting the organisation and promotion of events, managing logistics, suppliers and marketing materials.
• Maintaining marketing calendars, project trackers and budgets, alongside general supplier and invoice administration.
• Collecting and analysing marketing data, producing reports on campaign performance, website traffic and engagement.
• Working with different teams across the business to support wider marketing and commercial objectives.

What we're looking for

You'll have some previous experience in a marketing, communications or marketing support role and be comfortable juggling a variety of activities and deadlines.

We're looking for someone who has:

• A good understanding of digital marketing channels and how they work.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using social media platforms and marketing tools.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Great attention to detail and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
• A proactive approach, with the confidence to use your initiative and take responsibility for getting things done.

It would also be useful if you have:

• A marketing qualification or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related subject.
• Experience using CRM systems and email marketing platforms.
• Some knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and website content management systems.
• Experience coordinating events and working with external suppliers.
