Quantity Surveyor - #2184027

Reed Property & Construction are partnered with a well-established and growing civil engineering and groundworks contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor.

This vacancy is due to their busy order book, and will be to work on drainage, roads, infrastructure and civil engineering projects, typically valued at £2m-£3m as a subcontractor or main contractor on projects across the South of England.

Main duties include: -

Measuring works and pricing from first principles

Preparing take-offs and cost plans

Managing valuations, variations and final accounts

Subcontractor procurement and account management

Cost reporting and forecasting

Working with NEC and JCT contracts

Supporting project delivery teams commercially

Producing estimates and tenders

The client is looking for a candidate with: -

Quantity Surveying experience in groundworks, civils or infrastructure background

Solid site experience

Experience with NEC and/or JCT contracts

Commercially aware with excellent communication skills

Full UK driving license.
