Principal Air Quality Consultant

Bristol | £50,000 - £65,000

My client is looking for a Principal Air Quality Consultant - or an ambitious Senior Air Quality Consultant ready for promotion - who wants to make a bigger contribution than simply delivering projects.

Bristol is your base. Helping shape the future of the southern team is part of the opportunity. You'll lead technically challenging work across land development and infrastructure, build strong client relationships and have a genuine say in how projects are delivered and the business develops.

This Principal Air Quality Consultant role combines technical responsibility with the chance to influence people, projects and commercial growth. You will work across a varied mix of air quality and climate-related assessments, from construction dust through to complex odour assessments and large-scale road emissions modelling.

Duties of a Principal Air Quality Consultant:

• Lead air quality, greenhouse gas, climate change, odour and dust assessments
• Undertake ADMS dispersion modelling for road traffic and odour emissions
• Manage projects from proposal through to delivery, maintaining technical quality throughout
• Mentor junior consultants and support project resourcing
• Develop client relationships, contribute to business development and help secure new work

Requirements:

• At least five years' experience in UK air quality consultancy; other experience levels may be considered
• Strong ADMS modelling experience, particularly vehicle exhaust emissions
• Experience delivering air quality, greenhouse gas, odour and dust assessments
• Strong analytical, technical and report-writing skills
• Confidence managing projects and engaging with clients
• IAQM, ISEP or similar membership, or working towards it
• Full UK driving licence
