Recruit UK are delighted to be working with an established independent financial planning firm based in Thornbury, Bristol, who are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a paraplanner looking to join a supportive and professional environment focused on delivering high-quality financial advice and building long-term client relationships are at the heart of the business. You'll be working closely with experienced Financial Planners, with the opportunity to further develop your technical knowledge and progress your career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed suitability reports and financial planning recommendations
• Conduct pension, investment and product research
• Assist with cashflow modelling and financial planning analysis
• Provide technical support to Financial Planners
• Ensure all advice and documentation meets compliance and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with advisers and administrators to deliver excellent client outcomes

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a paraplanning role within financial planning or wealth management
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, or working towards
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning products
• Excellent report-writing skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage your own workload and work effectively within a team
• Proactive approach with a willingness to continue developing your technical knowledge
