We are seeking a driven and hands-on Workshop Manager to lead and develop a busy fabrication and manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader who can motivate teams, drive operational performance, and deliver continuous improvement across production activities.

The Role

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, motivating, and developing production teams
• Managing production schedules to ensure on-time delivery
• Driving improvements in productivity, efficiency, and operational performance
• Monitoring quality standards and ensuring compliance with company procedures
• Promoting a strong health and safety culture across the operation
• Managing labour, materials, and resources effectively
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Working closely with other departments to meet customer requirements and business objectives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Fabrication Manager, Workshop Manager, Operations Manager or similar
• Experience within a fabrication, welding, sheet metal, steelwork, engineering, or manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Good understanding of production planning and performance management
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer service
