The Role

As a Field Service technician, you will be responsible for visiting customer sites to install, maintain, repair and support a range of technology solutions used throughout the hospitality and retail sectors.

  • Complete break-fix and replacement calls on-site
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues
  • Diagnose faults with Wi-Fi equipment and network cabling
  • Ensure all service activities are documented accurately
  • Obtain customer sign-off on completed work
  • Deliver excellent customer service during every site visit
  • Escalate complex technical issues where required
  • Travel daily throughout your assigned region, with occasional UK-wide travel and overnight stays

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • An organised, methodical and composed approach to working
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
  • Willingness to travel extensively as part of the role

Desirable

  • Experience installing or supporting EPoS systems
  • Experience in field-based IT, telecoms or broadband engineering
  • Experience with routers, networking and Wi-Fi technologies
  • Experience within the retail or hospitality sectors
  • Knowledge of structured cabling and fault finding

Don't worry if you don't have direct EPoS experience. Full product and systems training will be provided for the right candidate.
