As a Business Tax Director in Bristol, you will lead business tax work within Professional Services, helping clients manage their tax needs with clear advice and sound judgement. You will take ownership of client relationships and commercial delivery, working closely with the Accounting & Finance department to keep work moving smoothly.

Description

As Business Tax Director, you will take responsibility for leading complex corporate tax advisory and compliance engagements while supporting the continued growth of the Bristol office.

Working closely with business owners, finance leaders and boards, you will provide commercially focused tax advice, develop long-term client relationships and drive new business opportunities across the market.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Leading a portfolio of business tax clients

* Delivering complex corporate tax advisory projects

* Acting as a trusted adviser to mid-market businesses and groups

* Driving revenue growth through business development activity

* Building and strengthening senior client relationships

* Working collaboratively with colleagues across service lines

* Leading, mentoring and developing tax professionals

* Supporting the strategic growth of the wider tax practice

* Identifying opportunities to expand client service offerings

* Maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence and client delivery

Profile

* ACA and/or CTA qualified

* Extensive corporate tax advisory experience

* Strong experience managing complex client portfolios

* Proven track record of winning new business

* Demonstrable leadership and people management skills

* Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking ability

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

* Experience advising senior decision-makers and board-level contacts

* Passion for developing teams and building client relationships

Job Offer
